Bio
Hi,
I'm Lisa Bertoldo. I was born and raised in a small rural town called Mareeba in Far North Queensland, Australia. I was raised a country girl and grew up riding motor bikes, building tree houses, jumping from shed roofs into trees with my older brother and running a muck outside until the sunset came and we were being yelled at to get inside for dinner.
I took off to New South Wales after high school and graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Arts Acting to Screen and Stage. I then made an even bigger leap and moved to Los Angeles where I spent nearly three years building up my experience and skillset in multiple roles from commercials, short films, feature films to web series and even modelling.
I furthered my training in LA at the Michelle Danner Acting Studio under the guidance of many esteemed teachers in the industry. It was there that I was encouraged to create my own content and created my own production company called Lindy Lou Productions. Coming from a small town in Australia to LA was a huge change but I felt like I could bring something new to the table which is where a lot of inspiration came from to make the comedy cooking show called "The Lisa and Lenny Cooking Extravaganza!" Which is now available to watch on YouTube.
After moving back to Australia just in time for the Covid-19 crisis I have been busy Writing, Producing and Starring in my own film called "Lindy Lou"; which has been shot in North Queensland using local talent and crew amongst the rural countryside landscapes. "Lindy Lou" is a dark comedy drama and took home the Cairns RADF 2020 grant of $10,000 and will be released later this year!
